BMW has opened bookings in India for its new i5 Long Wheelbase (LWB) electric sedan. The model is manufactured locally and is positioned as a premium offering aimed at improving rear-seat space and passenger comfort, a key focus of the longer wheelbase version.
BMW states the i5 LWB has a claimed electric range of 669 km on the MIDC cycle. It also offers a limited “First Edition” variant for select customers, with exclusive features.
