Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV) in Raipur cancels the first-year B.Sc Agriculture Plant Pathology examination after police confirm the question paper was leaked. The exam in question is held on August 7, according to the reports. The cancellation follows an investigation linked to another paper leak connected to the same B.Sc Agriculture examinations.

Multiple outlets describe a police probe that initially centered on the Entomology question paper leak reported on August 20. Officials say that investigation also turns up evidence that the Plant Pathology paper for the August 7 exam was leaked as well. IGKV holds an emergency meeting chaired by the university’s vice chancellor to decide on next steps.

Authorities state the Plant Pathology exam is re-conducted in the first week of September. A fresh test for the leaked Entomology paper is also planned for the same period. The university issues notices and initiates disciplinary proceedings against a Durg-affiliated college and individuals detained in connection with the August 20 leak, while describing strengthened examination security measures for upcoming papers.
