Ceigall India shares rise around 4% after the company’s joint venture receives a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for a road project worth ₹704.70 crore in Arunachal Pradesh. The award is for constructing a section of the Lada–Sarli stretch on National Highway 913 (the Frontier Highway), with the contract value excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The companies involved frame the project as part of improving road connectivity in remote, strategically important areas. Ceigall India and Sushee Infra & Mining are set up as a JV, with Ceigall holding a 74% stake and Sushee the remaining 26%. The work is awarded on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis. It covers upgrading the road from km 85.60 to km 168.00 to an intermediate-lane standard, with a 48-month construction timeline followed by a five-year maintenance period.
Both outlets cite regulatory filings submitted to Indian stock exchanges in late August 2026. They also report the project is awarded by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) through LOA. The main difference is emphasis: one outlet focuses more on the stock reaction and company statements, while the other highlights the JV structure and project specifications.
