Vivo is set to launch the upcoming Vivo T5 5G in India on September 2 at 12 PM local time. The phone is part of the brand’s expanding T5 series, which already includes models such as the Vivo T5 Lite 5G, T5x 5G, and T5 Pro 5G.
Ahead of the launch, Vivo confirms key specifications. The device is teased to feature a 1.5K 144Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. Multiple reports also indicate the display is a 3D curved AMOLED panel, and the phone is expected to include a 7,050mAh battery. Vivo also teases that it will be available in two colour options.
There are some differences in emphasis across outlets. NDTV focuses on the confirmed display refresh rate, chipset, and battery capacity, along with the launch announcement. GSMArena.com additionally describes the display as a 1.5K 144Hz 3D curved AMOLED and notes that the revealed design appears similar to the iQOO Z11, suggesting it may be a rebranded variant.
