The Linux Foundation announces it will govern TRACE, an open standard aimed at providing hardware-backed runtime evidence for AI agents and other confidential workloads. According to the outlets, TRACE is built from work contributed by OPAQUE and co-developed by AMD, Intel, Microsoft, OPAQUE, and the Technology Innovation Institute (TII).
