Reports circulate that Apple’s first “book-style” foldable iPhone, dubbed the iPhone Ultra, could launch in multiple colors, including red. Several outlets reference online CAD-style renders showing the device in white, black, and red, with the red shade described as potentially similar to Apple’s (PRODUCT)RED branding used in past iPhone models.

However, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman challenges the credibility of those images. Gurman says the purported iPhone Ultra renders do not depict Apple’s foldable and instead originated from Xiaomi, adding that the device will not come in red or green. Other reporting similarly frames the leak as unverified and notes Apple typically sticks to more traditional colorways for new hardware.

While the images generate renewed speculation about a possible return of red, the outlets also emphasize uncertainty. Apple is expected to hold its fall iPhone event on September 9, where the foldable could be unveiled alongside new iPhone models, which would clarify the final design and color options.
