Apple is expanding education and training for workers in its supply chain in Vietnam by launching a new Apple Education Center in Hanoi. The center is part of the company’s Supplier Employee Development Fund and is designed to offer learning opportunities for employees across Apple’s supplier network in Vietnam.
The center is the first of its kind in Vietnam and begins offering courses in the fall. Apple says it operates in partnership with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and that the curriculum combines online and in-person learning. Planned topics include manufacturing, robotics, and automation technology, along with leadership and soft-skills training intended to support career advancement.
