NBC Sports re-ups its media rights deal for Shaun White’s Snow League, bringing the halfpipe circuit back for a second season. The league’s four events in the season are set to air through NBC Sports and Peacock.
The outlets agree the new season begins next month, with the first event taking place in New Zealand on Sept. 19. Yahoo Sports adds that the calendar includes a new stop in Park City, Utah, alongside the existing event slate, and describes Park City’s halfpipe history. Coverage also notes that NBC will provide both live broadcasts and encore presentations, with streaming on Peacock and the Snow League’s YouTube channel.
Powder Magazine and The Independent frame the change as improved accessibility for viewers, emphasizing the contract renewal and Peacock involvement. Yahoo Sports further details future distribution, saying that starting in 2027 every Snow League event will stream live on both platforms, extending the league’s reach beyond the 2024–25 season.
