Previous availability includes North America, South America, and Europe.
Apple describes World Cup features including a tournament bracket view that lets users follow matchups and results through rounds, plus enhanced game cards that show visual formations for each team’s starting lineup. The app also connects to Apple News for World Cup editorial coverage. Live Activities support is included so users can follow favorite teams and view scores at a glance, including on iPhone Lock Screen or Dynamic Island and on Apple Watch. The app continues to be available only on iPhone, according to the reports.
