Police in Rivers State detain a police officer following a shooting that kills 22-year-old Anthony Obodo, a recent University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) graduate, in Port Harcourt. Eyewitness accounts say officers flagged down Obodo’s vehicle, pursued it after he allegedly did not stop, and shots were fired. Reports state the driver was hit and later died at a nearby hospital, while the vehicle crashed and injured bystanders.
