The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) launches an online set of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to explain the Master Plan Delhi 2047 (MPD-2047), effective from August 20, 2026. The FAQs replace an earlier version and cover rules and norms related to land use, construction, and redevelopment across different areas of Delhi. They also address mechanisms such as land pooling and include information on transit-oriented development approaches.

The initiative is presented as part of efforts to make the planning document more accessible to the public. The Hindu reports that the move follows directions from Lieutenant-Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, who is also Chairperson of the DDA. Times of India adds that the DDA provides an online portal where citizens can submit feedback, as the plan’s guidance is communicated to stakeholders and residents.
