A Tesla Cybertruck driver in north Texas is arrested after intentionally driving the vehicle into Grapevine Lake to test the truck’s “Wade Mode” feature, police said. Authorities say the Cybertruck entered the water near the shoreline and took on water, after which the vehicle became disabled. The driver and passengers abandoned the vehicle and called for help. Rescuers recovered the Cybertruck from near Katie’s Woods Park Boat Ramp and the vehicle was later towed. Police also said the driver was arrested after leaving the scene.
