Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Terrance Drew is hospitalized after experiencing mild discomfort, nausea and a headache, and he remains awake, alert and in stable condition, according to reports. Dominica News says the OECS Director General sends prayers to Drew following his hospitalization.
Jamaica Observer, citing a government statement, reports that Drew was admitted to Joseph N France (JNF) General Hospital on Sunday night for observation and clinical evaluation. It says the treating physicians conducted diagnostic reviews over roughly 18 hours and advised additional specialised observation. The government also stated that arrangements are underway to transport Drew abroad “for specialised observation and precautionary monitoring.”
