A 16-year-old boy pleads guilty in a Sydney court to planning a terrorist attack targeting the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney marathon. The defendant is unable to be identified for legal reasons. The court hears that his planning occurs over more than a month in 2024.
According to the reports, the teenager tells the court he becomes radicalised through social media, including TikTok, and later connects with extremist contacts via Telegram.
