According to reports cited by outlets, Akshay would play a hunter and tracker whose upbringing in the forests shapes his later work. His character is said to begin by killing man-eating tigers and leopards that threaten his village, and then shift his perspective toward protecting wildlife as he understands the harm caused by poaching and deforestation.
One report adds additional production details, saying Priyadarshan and the team plan a jungle recce in Rajasthan and Gujarat, and that filming is planned as a start-to-finish schedule in forest locations. It also says the search for a female lead is underway, with pre-production expected to begin in October and shooting scheduled to start in January 2027.
