Samsung is expanding its One UI 9 beta program, which is based on Android 17, to more Galaxy phones and foldables. The update is rolling out in multiple regions and includes the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and the Galaxy S25 lineup. Early access is described as beginning as the rollout reaches additional markets.

The beta program was initially announced in May for the Galaxy S26 series, and Samsung now extends participation to more devices in countries including India, South Korea, the US, and the UK. Droid Life frames the expansion as starting in September, while the GSMArena report highlights the list of eligible models and notes that Samsung’s press materials do not mention a Galaxy S25 Edge model, leaving unclear whether that device gets beta access or goes directly to a stable release.

Across sources, there is agreement that these devices are now eligible to receive beta builds rather than waiting for the final One UI release cycle.
