In explaining the cancellations, Say Anything’s accounts cite a need to prioritize Bemis’s “mental health and personal well-being.”
The allegations emerge shortly before “Cherry Soda,” a planned collaborative album from Say Anything and Wavves. In response, Wavves frontman Nathan Williams addresses the controversy ahead of the release and says he does not want to be associated with Bemis.
