Former Apple CFO Luca Maestri is winding down his involvement with Apple’s corporate operations, Bloomberg reports. Maestri left his CFO role in January 2025 but continued working for Apple, leading the company’s Corporate Services organization.
Recent weeks see him step away from managing Corporate Services, though he remains employed by Apple. Sources cited by both outlets say his current involvement is limited, including hosting a class at Apple University. Maestri has reportedly shifted away from day-to-day responsibilities tied to the Corporate Services function, which covers areas such as information systems and technology, information security, and real estate and development.
With the leadership transition from Tim Cook to John Ternus, outlets describe changes in how departing executives are used. One account notes Maestri no longer reports to the new CEO in the way he did previously, and the Corporate Services team is being taken over by Kevan Parekh, who became CFO after Maestri’s departure.
