Annu Projects Ltd has made a weak stock market debut, listing at a discount to its IPO price. The shares begin trading on the NSE at Rs 72, about 27% below the issue price of Rs 99. After listing, selling pressure continues and the shares drop further to an intraday low of Rs 71.25, nearly 28% below the IPO price.
The IPO was subscribed about 2.93 times, with bids for roughly 5.18 crore shares against 1.76 crore shares on offer. Reports say the offering is entirely a fresh issue of up to 1.7683 crore equity shares, with no offer-for-sale portion. The price band is reported as Rs 94–99 per share.
Regarding use of proceeds, outlets report net funds are allocated to machinery and equipment purchases (Rs 15.41 crore) and working capital (Rs 115 crore), with the remainder for general corporate purposes.
