Pakistan’s Navy begins SEASPARK-2026, a major maritime exercise in Karachi, with the stated aim of testing combat readiness against conventional and emerging maritime threats, according to the military’s media wing, ISPR. The opening brief is presided over by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf and attended by senior officers from other services.
Outlets describe the drills as multi-domain and multi-platform. ISPR says the exercise integrates ships, submarines, aircraft, unmanned systems, marines, and special forces, alongside joint Army and Air Force elements. It also includes rehearsals that combine maritime, air, land, cyber, and space-enabled capabilities, as well as operations in the information environment.
