PC Jeweller Ltd is repaying its loans under a one-time settlement with a consortium of banks and has cleared all outstanding dues to one more lender, bringing it closer to becoming debt-free this month.

According to regulatory disclosures cited by outlets, the company has repaid the full outstanding debt owed to 9 of the 14 banks in the lending consortium. Each repayment is reported to have been completed before its scheduled due date. For the remaining five banks, the company has reportedly paid more than 96% of the settled amount, leaving less than 4% pending.

The outlets also describe the broader context: the settlement was signed on September 30, 2024, to resolve a stressed loan account that stood at nearly ₹4,100 crore as of March 2024. State Bank of India leads the lender group. The company is expected to complete repayment of the remaining balance during September, which would conclude its settlement obligations to all 14 banks.
