SoFi Technologies partners with Payward, the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, to connect SoFi’s banking settlement network with Kraken’s digital-asset infrastructure. The companies say the collaboration supports continuous (24/7) dollar settlement and enables interoperability between banking rails and digital-asset markets.
As part of the deal, Payward is expected to use SoFi’s “Big Business Banking” capabilities and to join SoFi’s Exchange Network (SEN). Cointelegraph and PYMNTS also report that SoFi’s stablecoin, SoFiUSD, is set to be listed on Payward’s multi-asset trading platform. Separately, the outlets describe Kraken Prime brokerage as a channel that provides access to digital-asset liquidity for SoFi, while supporting Payward’s integration with SoFi’s settlement services.
Across the reports, the emphasis differs: The Block focuses on the infrastructure-connection angle between the networks, while Cointelegraph highlights the stablecoin and 24/7 settlement components. PYMNTS emphasizes SoFi’s banking capabilities and platform network participation.
