Walmart is adding Dunkin’ to its in-store delivery program for restaurant orders, letting shoppers receive Dunkin’ items delivered alongside other Walmart purchases. The expansion follows Walmart’s earlier collaboration with Subway as the retailer broadens its restaurant-delivery offering.
Walmart launched its restaurant delivery service about three months earlier and first announced the Subway partnership in June. According to reports, the latest update comes as Walmart expands the program to include Inspire Brands restaurants—Inspire Brands’ portfolio includes Dunkin’. Other coverage notes the service is designed to mirror the Subway setup for ordering and fulfillment within Walmart’s delivery ecosystem.
Retail outlets frame the move as part of Walmart’s broader effort to compete in restaurant delivery, using major quick-service brands to attract customers who want food added to online or delivered grocery and retail orders.
