vivo confirms it will unveil OriginOS 7.0, based on Android 17, on September 16 at its annual vivo Developer Conference (VDC). The company also plans to present BlueOS 4, described as its next-generation platform for smart wearables, smart home products, and IoT devices.
Ahead of the event, outlets report that vivo is previewing parts of the OriginOS 7 interface and system changes. NDTV and GSMArena highlight a refreshed look, including new materials and “liquid glass”-like or liquid-style animations. They also point to performance upgrades that vivo says will improve graphics rendering, app launch times, and power efficiency.
While all sources agree on the launch date and the Android 17 foundation, their emphasis differs: GSMArena focuses on the event lineup and user interface teasers, while NDTV concentrates on the specific UI and performance improvements being promoted. India Today similarly centers on the September 16 announcement timing.
