Rentomojo, a Bengaluru-based furniture and home appliance rental platform, is preparing for an initial public offering with a total issue size of about ₹1,256 crore. Multiple outlets report that the company is offering a fresh issue of up to ₹150 crore alongside an offer for sale (OFS) by existing investors, with the OFS valued at roughly ₹1,106 crore at the top of the price band.
The IPO price band is set at ₹384–₹404 per share, and outlets say Rentomojo plans to open subscriptions on September 9 and close them on September 11. Free Press Journal adds that anchor bids open on September 8, while both outlets reference valuations tied to the upper end of the band, with The Economic Times putting the implied valuation at about ₹4,246 crore. Both also note that proceeds from the fresh issue primarily target debt repayment and lease or licensing costs, with some allocation for general corporate purposes.
Outlets further report that the IPO includes selling shareholders such as Accel and Chiratae Ventures, along with other funds, and that founder Geetansh Bamania is also among sellers for a small portion of his stake. Free Press Journal states the shares are scheduled to list on BSE and NSE on September 17. The Economic Times highlights recent financial performance and cites a profitability timeline, including a one-time tax-related benefit.
