The Social Democratic Party (SDP) announces it will hold fresh governorship primaries in Gombe and Nasarawa States to replace candidates who step down ahead of the 2027 election. SDP also states the elections are planned for 11 a.m., with the Gombe primary at the party’s state secretariat and the Nasarawa exercise at Ta’al Hotel, Lafia. The party says it attaches letters and affidavits showing the candidates’ voluntary withdrawal and invites INEC to monitor the process to support transparency and compliance with electoral guidelines.
