A woman in her 70s dies at an Aldi supermarket in Worcester after collapsing in front of other customers. Emergency services are called shortly after 3.15pm on Thursday to a “medical incident” at the store on Bath Road, where the woman is found in critical condition.
Police and ambulance crews attempt to save her, and a defibrillator is reportedly brought from a nearby Toby Carvery. Metro also reports that the Midlands Air Ambulance is sent to the scene. Despite these efforts, she is confirmed dead at the location.
Authorities say the death is not being treated as suspicious and that nobody else was involved.
