The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, says African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential running mate Rotimi Amaechi will ask supporters to boycott the presidential election before 11am on election day. Wike made the claim during an event held in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Wike frames his allegation as based on Amaechi’s ability to win in Rivers, saying Amaechi “knows there’s no way he’ll defeat” Wike’s side. He adds that Amaechi’s call to boycott is linked to the idea that any win would depend on whether he can secure results at his own polling unit or village.
