Apple Watch SE 3 is suddenly marked “unavailable” across all configurations on Apple’s online store in the U.S. and in other countries checked, according to reports from MacRumors and 9to5Mac. The listings show no purchase option at the time of publication.
The change comes ahead of Apple’s scheduled product launch event this Wednesday, where new iPhone and Apple Watch models are expected to be announced. MacRumors notes that an Apple Watch SE 4 had not been widely expected for immediate release because Apple has not previously released new SE generations in consecutive years. The original Apple Watch SE launched in September 2020, SE 2 followed in September 2022, and SE 3 was announced in September 2025.
Both outlets treat the unavailability as unusual and leave open the explanation. They differ mainly in speculation: whether the removal signals a near-term replacement model at the event, or whether it reflects a temporary supply, ordering, or catalog issue that will be resolved soon.
