Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, and the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, agree to strengthen collaboration and communication to reduce recurring clashes between police officers and lawyers.
The agreement is announced following a meeting in which Disu and the NBA president discuss steps to improve professional cooperation, mutual respect, and justice delivery. The police force says the focus is on better coordination between the Nigeria Police Force and the NBA, with an emphasis on how both institutions engage during legal processes.
