A lawyer’s body is found inside a parked car in the parking area of the Rawalpindi Judicial Complex on Wednesday, police say. A moharir at the complex informs Civil Lines police at about 9:30am, and officers reach the scene to report the discovery.

The deceased is identified as Advocate Sanaullah Satti. Rawalpindi Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Tariq Mehboob and the Express Tribune both state that the investigation is underway and that the cause of death will be determined after forensic findings. A Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) team is called to examine the scene and support the autopsy and evidence collection.

Both outlets describe the investigation as ongoing, with officials awaiting forensic reports before reaching conclusions. Dawn also provides broader context, noting that a lawyer’s body was found in January in Islamabad’s H-9, with earlier police reporting suggesting possible murder in that separate case.
