Arya.ag, an Indian agriculture platform, plans to store and tokenize records tied to grain stored in warehouses on the Avalanche blockchain. The move is aimed at giving lenders a shared, verifiable record of collateral while the underlying crops remain in physical storage.

According to reports, the system links farmer and grain deposit details with electronic negotiable warehouse receipts (e-NWRs) and financing information, including insurance and loan-related data. NDTV says the initiative covers grain tied to about $2 billion (about Rs. 19,052 crore) of stored agricultural produce. It also states that physical crops stay in warehouses and that India’s official e-NWRs continue to function as the financing documents.

Cointelegraph adds that the combined system is designed to bring together farmer, warehouse, insurance, and loan data to help lenders verify collateral through the blockchain-based record. Neither outlet specifies a launch date or the initial deployment scale beyond the reported overall coverage.
