A hiker in Georgia reports finding the remains of two people on Mount Yonah. The White County Sheriff’s Office says the discovery happens at about 11:20 a.m. on Sept. 9, in White County.
Mount Yonah is a popular hiking area in northeast Georgia. Fox News reports that White County Sheriff Rick Kelley says additional details will be provided as the investigation continues. The New York Post likewise cites the White County Sheriff’s Office but provides limited information beyond the time and location of the discovery.
