Cebu Pacific is increasing its hand-carry baggage allowance to 10 kilograms per passenger from 7 kilograms, effective September 15. The airline says the update gives travelers more space to pack without paying for additional checked baggage, and it applies under its revised hand-carry guidelines.
The change applies only to flights operated by Cebu Pacific (5J). Its regional unit Cebgo (DG) retains a maximum hand-carry allowance of 7 kilograms. Other reports also note that Filipino travelers react positively to the planned increase after the airline’s announcement circulated online.
