Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman Bamanga Tukur dies, and party and political figures issue condolences.

In a statement, PDP’s National Publicity Secretary Hon. Jungudo Haruna Mohammed describes Tukur as a “distinguished statesman,” an elder, administrator, businessman, and a committed member of the party. Separately, Prince Adewole Adebayo, presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), also expresses sadness in a condolence message, calling Tukur a distinguished Nigerian statesman, administrator, businessman, and elder whose contributions to Nigeria and Africa are significant.

Across the two accounts, both outlets focus on Tukur’s roles and public service, highlighting his leadership and business background, while reflecting their respective party perspectives through the officials who deliver the tributes.
