NDTV, reporting on the film’s day-two status, puts Haiwaan’s total India net collection at Rs 5.50 crore. Both outlets frame the results as the film struggling to build momentum as competing releases gain attention. Sources also note Haiwaan is a remake of the Malayalam film Oppam, and that it faces competition from Mirzapur: The Movie and Hanuman Ansh, with the latter releases drawing audience interest during the same period.
