Samsung begins rolling out the second One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series. Several outlets report the update is being distributed shortly after the first One UI 9 beta and is made available to participating Galaxy S24 users.
The beta integrates features that Samsung previously showcased on its newer devices, including the Galaxy Z8 foldables and elements associated with the Galaxy S26 line. Android Authority highlights usability and productivity changes such as “Now Brief” improvements and functions positioned as smart or AI-assisted, while also referencing features like “Now Nudge” and other additions tied to Samsung’s software experience. GSMArena notes the rollout can be identified by a firmware version ending in “ZZI4” and describes “Now Brief” enhancements, including the ability to create custom cards using AI prompts.
While both sources agree on the core fact that a second beta is rolling out and that it brings select Z8/S26 feature ideas to the S24, they differ mainly in which individual features they foreground and how they categorize the updates.
