Voicemod has launched Key Pocket, a small “pocket-friendly” accessory that adds real-time voice changing and soundboard features to phones, consoles, and social apps. The device is designed to let users apply Voicemod’s audio effects without using a PC, and it builds on the company’s earlier Key dongle concept.
Both outlets describe Key Pocket as a MagSafe-compatible device meant to work alongside Voicemod’s ecosystem. The Verge adds that Key Pocket expands on the earlier Voicemod Key dongle released in late 2024, which used a smartphone as an interface between Voicemod’s mobile app and major gaming platforms including Xbox and PlayStation. The Next Web positions the new product as a broader way to bring the same real-time voice modulation beyond consoles.
