The reports present the adjustment as an upward review implemented across several NNPCL outlets, including areas such as Airport Junction, Gwarinpa, Kubwa Expressway and Wuse Zone 4. One outlet also states that the change means an adjustment of between N50 and N85 per litre, depending on the previous price at individual stations.
Outlets differ slightly in what they emphasize as the context for the increase. Nigerian Eye links the timing to other price movements, including MRS filling stations raising prices and reference to Dangote Refinery’s gantry price increase.
