A-One Steels India Ltd launches its ₹405-crore initial public offering (IPO) on September 24, with the public subscription opening that day. The IPO runs for three days and closes on September 28. Anchor investor bidding takes place on September 23, according to the company’s Red Herring Prospectus (RHP).

The IPO consists of a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹355 crore and an offer for sale of up to ₹50 crore by the company’s promoters. The company previously indicated a larger ₹650-crore IPO in earlier draft filings but reduced the size before the current plan.

Outlets also note A-One Steels’ business and funding intentions. The fresh issue proceeds include planned use of about ₹250 crore to prepay or partially repay certain outstanding borrowings, with the balance for general corporate purposes. The issue is managed by PL Capital Markets and Khambatta Securities, with Bigshare Services as registrar, and shares are proposed to list on both the BSE and NSE.
