Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, proposes creating a dedicated police desk to strengthen security and intellectual property protection for the country’s expanding creative economy. According to the reports, the proposed desk would be set up within an appropriate existing structure of the Nigeria Police Force, rather than as a standalone new unit.
