Chase announces that starting in January 2027, its Sapphire Reserve for Business card will double the annual value of The Edit hotel credits to $1,000. The change provides four $250 credits each year, according to reporting from multiple outlets.

The new benefit comes with an added limitation on certain bonus earnings. One source says eligible advertising earns at 3X, but Chase imposes a $1 million annual spending cap on that bonus category beginning in November. The other outlet similarly reports that a $1 million cap is added to some bonus categories tied to higher-rate earning.

Together, the coverage frames the update as a larger credits offer with a tradeoff in specific categories. Both sources describe the credit increase as potentially beneficial for most cardholders, while the cap affects how much spend can qualify for the enhanced earning rates tied to the limited categories.
