A second person dies in connection with a Legionnaires’ disease cluster in New York City’s South Bronx, according to multiple reports. The illness is linked to a localized outbreak that has also led to hospitalizations.
Both outlets say the cluster has sickened more than a dozen people. The Hill reports that, as of Thursday, 13 people have tested positive for the disease, and two remain in the hospital. The New York Post reports that at least 14 people have been sickened in the cluster and that the new death is the second associated with it.
