An Australian man accused of killing Thai teenager Tunchanok Donhomla and later abandoning her body in a suitcase pleads not guilty to all charges. The plea is entered at his first court appearance since the girl’s death, in a hearing in the seaside resort city of Pattaya.
Court accounts say Simon Peter (Simon) Carman, 45, is charged after the teenager is reported missing in Pattaya in June. He is arrested shortly after, following a report connected to the teenager’s disappearance. Authorities say a suitcase containing Donhomla’s body is found soon after she is reported missing. Police say the case involves the discovery of her body near a railway track, and further details include findings about the cause of death.
