A 13-year-old from Long Island, Joe Petraro-Hyppolite, is preparing to begin a master’s programme at New York University next year. Multiple outlets report that the student’s IQ is 168, and that he has already completed several major academic milestones at a young age.
The coverage notes that Petraro-Hyppolite has scored 1,590 on the SAT at age 10, earned a high school diploma at 11, and is on track to finish an undergraduate degree by May 2027. Nigerian Eye adds that he has been accepted into NYU’s sports management master’s programme, which includes coursework in kinesiology and biology. He is described as feeling both nerves and excitement about starting graduate study.
