Sources report that during the episode he briefly seemed uncomfortable, asked for water and, later, reacted to the on-screen portrayal in the promotional cut.
In his Instagram Story, Khan says “nothing is wrong” with his health and attributes the alarming message to how the promo was edited. He adds that the pain shown was intended as a point against contestant Qazi and that the cut “beats the purpose,” making it look like something similar to what Qazi did. He also apologises “on behalf of Bigg Boss” for the promo’s editing.
Across outlets, Khan is also described taking a public stand against social media trolling, including age- and body-shaming.
