A producer behind the film “Hanuman Ansh” says Neem Karoli Baba’s daughter, Girija ji, has watched the movie about 15 times since its release and cried during each viewing. Producer Ragini Sona describes the account as part of an emotional interaction she says she had with Girija before the film came out, in which the family’s connection to Neem Karoli Baba played a central role.
Sona and director Vishal Chaturvedi reportedly sought Girija’s blessings ahead of the release. The outlets say the team managed to speak with her by phone and asked if she would watch the film. Girija’s response, according to the producer, was that she would watch when the time felt right, after which she watched the film repeatedly and became emotional.
