Sargam Vaish accuses ‘The Vvaan’ makers of using ‘Aigiri Nandini’ without permission

Musician Sargam Vaish has revealed that the makers of 'The Vvaan: Force of the Forest' have acquired the sync rights to his Aigiri Nandini recording after he alleged that the track was used in the film’s trailer without his permission. According to Mid-Day, Balaji Motion Pictures’ legal team met Vaish on September 21 and resolved the matter. While Vaish appreciated the production house’s response, he said the source of the recording leak remains unknown.

Independent artist Sargam Vaish has accused the makers of ‘The Vvaan’, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, of using his song ‘Aigiri Nandini’ in the trailer without permission. Vaish claimed the makers used his master recording and threatened legal action if it was not removed. CBFC member Ricky Kej questioned how the unreleased song was accessed, while Vaish said he was also seeking answers.

He claimed that the “production and vocals” from his original work were used as they were. The vocalist has requested the makers to remove the song from both the trailer and the film.Alongside the video, Vaish shared a detailed note addressing the makers. He wrote, "REMOVE MY SONG FROM THE VVAAN I recently came across the “THE VVAAN – Official Trailer” and noticed that my original song has been used in it without my permission or consent. I have not given permission for my music to be used in the trailer or for its promotion."
