According to the reports, the state Home Department approval includes conditions for how theatres and the film’s producers handle the release window. The revised pricing is reported to apply from September 24 to September 27, with different caps for single-screen theatres versus multiplexes and special theatres. Another phase of pricing reduction is reported to begin after the first four days, continuing into late September.
All outlets note that the government order also requires commitments beyond ticketing. *The Paradise*’s production house is directed to contribute ₹1 crore to a Telugu film industry employees welfare committee, and theatres are asked to use screenings to spread public awareness, including drug and narcotics-related messaging and cybercrime awareness.
