Edo State Police Command arrests 50-year-old prophet Nicholas Nusa over allegations of abducting five girls in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area. Police say Nusa, who leads Divine Grace Church on Imoga Road in Ibillo, is also accused of impregnating one of the girls, who is 15 years old.
Police state that the alleged abductions happened on different occasions between September 2025 and April 2026, with children taken from Ibillo and Imoga communities and allegedly kept at Nusa’s residence. One of the victims reportedly undergoes a Caesarean section and receives medical care in a hospital, with the girl placed under the care of the Brave Heart Organisation. Police add that Nusa allegedly admits to the offences during questioning after information was received by investigators.
